RYAN “BURKE” BURKE, Licensed Professional Counselor
Burke is a recent addition to the Curran Seeley team. He is currently working with both our Intensive Outpatient and Adolescent treatment programs. Burke’s background is in mental health counseling with a focus on at-risk youth and individuals with disabilities. His current interestes include how to incorporate the fields of neuroscience, consciousness studies and evolutionary psychology into an addictions treatment program. His main therapeutic influences include the field of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Dialectic Behavior Therapy. Burke earned his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College receiving a double major in psychology and sociology and went on to gain his Master’s in mental health counseling from Adams State University. On a personal level, Burke is a world traveler who just returned from a year abroad in Southeast Asia and he spends his free time focusing on endurance triathalons and long distance running.
